NSW Approved Tubular Point of Attachment Brackets
'B' & 'D' RATED SINGLE & DOUBLE LEG BRACKETS
Amboss style Point of Attachment Brackets are tubular 'S' shaped brackets, designed by electricians for ease of use, and are compatible with the NSW Service and Installation Rules. The 'S' shaped tubular design allows for consumer mains to be run through centre of bracket for a neater installation and to simplify flashing of bracket where required. Suitable for single or three phase aluminium aerial service lines, the 'B' rated (or single leg) POA brackets are suitable for up to approx. 30m length of run while the 'D' rated (or double leg) brackets will take up to approx. 50m. The 'D' rated POA brackets are also suitable for any service line pulling on the bracket at an angle of greater than 45° to the perpendicular.
There are several mounting styles available, incorporating both rafter and fascia fixing. The brackets are available in a variety of sizes; ranging from 300-900mm high.
Single Rafter. Rafter Mounting with riser in front of the gutter.Designed to simplify mounting this bracket installs via 40 diameter hole through the fascia under Quad style gutter or similar. No penetration of roofing material or flashing of bracket required. |
Side Mount. For fixing to rafter and penetrating through roofing material or fixing to side fascia or verandah beam. 'S' shaped tubular design allows for consumer mains to be run through centre of bracket for a neater installation and to simplify flashing of bracket where required. Available in left and right hand configuration- left hand bracket shown. |
Fascia Mount. For fixing to fascia under the gutter. Must be bolted to a hardwood noggin of adequate strength fixed between the rafters directly behind fascia board or using Clarke fascia support bracket (Part no. CI SB1/LH or /RH). |
Rafter / Fascia Mount. For fixing to fascia under the gutter with the added strength of rafter support bar. Our strongest mounting single leg bracket, this bracket provides greater resistance to twisting when the angle of service line pull exceeds 45°. |
Double Leg Rafter. Rafter Mount with riser in front of gutter. Designed to simplify mounting this bracket installs via 2 x 40 diameter holes through fascia under Quad style gutter or similar. No penetration of roofing material or flashing of bracket required. Not suitable for full depth fascia gutters. For this application, we offer a Clarke style double leg rafter bracket which mounts behind fascia and penetrates through the roofing material. Available in two widths to suit 450mm or 600mm nominal rafter spacing. Bracket legs will flex to take up minor discrepancies in rafter spacing without compromising strength. |
